More access to leisure for Preston's unpaid carers

Lancashire County Council has launched a free leisure information and benefit awareness pack aimed at helping Preston’s 13,000 unpaid carers to improve their health and wellbeing.

The launch took place at a special open day hosted by West View Climbing and Leisure Centre in Preston, where a group of unpaid carers received a complimentary guided tour of the centre and one of the new benefit awareness packs.

Preston FM’s Heather Schultz was there to report from the launch.
